Production

Welcome!

This E-Learning Platform on Professional Media Production gathers a selection of filmed courses covering three fields of media production: photojournalism, feature writing and filmmaking. It is based on the Pan-African Workshop for Professional Media Production held in 2015 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, that brought together students from various African countries and renowned professionals of African descent from the Diaspora.

  • No one can tell your story in the way you can tell it, with the same passion, with the same depth of knowledge.

    — Robert Naylor, Feature Writing course trainer —
  • I saw that the camera could be a weapon against poverty, against racism, against all sorts of social wrongs. I knew at that point I had to have a camera.

    — Gordon Parks, African-American photographer, musician, writer and film director —
